Italy is a beautiful country, full of history, breathtaking landscapes… and we are virtually taking you there today to meet Matteo, a SEO Specialist and Web Analyst, outdoor lover, based in Italy.
I’m a SEO specialist & Web analyst with over 6 years of experience. In early 2020 I started my own project: peakmetrics.net. I love nature and the outdoors, if I’m not analyzing a trend you can find me on a mountain trail.
We asked Matteo a few questions about his vision and and experience at Work for Impact:
Why did you join Work for Impact?
The world needs a change towards greater respect for the environment and all its inhabitants.
We human beings need a revolution in the way we live and work, and we can achieve this through initiatives such as Work for Impact.
What motivates you?
Being able to apply your skills to associations that make a positive impact in the world is a great personal motivation.
In my career, I’ve spent countless hours helping businesses to grow through digital channels. Lately, I felt the need to put more of my time at the disposal of impactful projects.
How would you contribute to make the world a better place?
The best way to contribute to making the world a better place is to stop thinking that you cannot change things and start to act.
Last year I covered over 2300 km of commuting by bike, saving almost half a ton of CO2. I’ve been cutting down my meat and fish consumption. I switched to green energy providers, and I started joining organizations such as Work for impact.
I also never forget to talk to my network. In the hyperconnected world we live in, a single person can inspire change in hundreds of individuals.
My favorite organization is Patagonia, because I think they are succeeding in carrying out a genuine mission and inspiring people, while at the same time thriving economically.
