Jo is a Digital Marketer from Australia, focused on helping impactful organisations reach their goals through online activities. Her approach is driven by getting tangible results that lead to meaningful actions, as she describes below:
I am a not-for-profit Facebook/Instagram ads specialist. I can help organisationsconnect with theirsupporters, and potential supporters, and deliver engagingcontent that inspires action. I've achieved strong fundraising, lead generation, campaigning and awareness-raising results with Facebook ad campaigns for leading not-for-profits including Oxfam Australia, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Equality Australia and the Fairtrade Foundation.

Why did you join Work for Impact?
I joined Work for Impact to have the opportunityto work with impactful organisations around the world. The issues we are combating or campaigning around are often global issues. We have so much to learn from each other, and our ability to collaboratefor a better world shouldn't be limited by borders.
What motivates you?
Successfulresults motivate me. With digital marketing, it is easy to show when you have delivered great results. More donations, more supporters signing up to campaigns or reaching a new group of people are all measurable. But these tangible results don't compare to the results that are often harder to measure. Contributing to victories for trade justice, helping protect peoples' human rights, and seeing people have access to the necessitiesto live a good life is what motivates me the most.
How would you contribute tomake theworlda betterplace?
While new technology has made communicating easier than ever, the most valuable tool we have to make social change is perhaps the oldest; storytelling. Stories have the greatest power to reach people, be remembered and influence people's actions. I can contribute to making the world a better place by helping individuals and organisation tell their stories, reach the right people at theright time and move them to act.
Favourite organisation?
My favourite organisation is Divine Chocolate, they are a Fairtrade chocolate company that is co-owned by the farmers who grow the cocoa. The farmers and their communities get the dual benefits of Fairtrade prices andpremiums, and dividends from company profits. The unique model means the farmers who grow the cocoa can invest to support their community, empower women and protect the environment. They also make seriously good chocolate!
