Born in Paris, Stéphanie is a global citizen with roots in Ghana. She is a political science and international relations graduate who operates as a strategic consultant in global mobility. Her consulting firm, ASARÉ offers strategic advisory and serves as a platform to support talent international mobility. In addition to French, Stéphanie speaks fluent English, German and Twi (Ghanaian language) and is currently learning Portuguese.
Over the past 10 years, Stéphanie has built a global career. She began her career in international development- working for various nonprofit organizations based in Europe and Africa, supporting them on high impact projects and programs in education, health, natural resources management, and tax justice.
Then, she transitioned from nonprofit to corporate and served as an account manager at Executive Relocations France/Groupe Mobilitas, the first French integrated services provider of national and international mobility for employees. An experience during which she successfully advised large corporations on their mobility procedures and managed more than 1k international assignments (business trips, internships, short-term and long-term assignments) over 5 continents and 40 countries.
Since 2016, she is the general secretary of Welcoming Diasporas. This French organization mobilizes a local and international network of experts to help entrepreneurs from the African Diaspora build sustainable social businesses. By the meantime, she also contributed to a few research publications (Mo Ibrahim Foundation) and online news sites (Le Point Afrique, Afrotribune).
