    I started as a Client Relationship Executive (Internal Sales) at the Head Office in Constantia Kloof, Johannesburg, March 2004

     In October 2006 I transferred as Office Manager to Newsclip’s Durban branch, in Umhlanga

     In 2008 I was promoted to the Coastal Manager (Branch Manager) and we moved offices to Westville 

    KPA’s/Responsibilities

    Reporting to: Managing Director of Newsclip

    Staff managed: 2 Supervisors, 4 sales staff, 1 intern, 25 production staff over two shifts

    Responsibilities include: Co-ordinate and manage all staff in Durban, Plan and manage workflow, Monthly payroll, Disciplinary issues, Motivation, Recruitment; Training and mentoring staff, Client relationship building, Maintaining and growing existing client base, New business development, Strategic planning.

    Ad-hoc Responsibilities include: Create networking opportunities through functions, New product/service development, Industry research, Property management, Served as trustee to the Body Corporate of the Westville building, marketing and social media input

    I also assist one of my VA clients, Life Heroes, by facilitating lessons at local pre and primary schools.  The curriculum offers life skills development for children such as teaching them how to deal with life’s difficulties – bullies, peer pressure, adapting to change, making good choices.

     On a weekly basis I reach approximately 150 children across 4 local schools, changing lives by equipping the children with the necessary skills to navigate the demand world they live in. 

    As much as I enjoy being my own boss, it is currently financially not viable.  I would also love to be part of a company again!  Adding value, working with a team, growing that business!
