I am a communication and socio-behavioural professional whose expertise includes storytelling for change, community engagement, and socio-behavioural research.
I am exceptionally skilled in technical and creative writing, media relations and management, multi-sectoral collaborations, team dynamics and leadership.
I currently partner with Ogun State Primary Health Care Board, The Challenge Initiative Ogun State, Advocacy Working Group Ogun State, and Pathfinders International on adolescent and youth reproductive health.
I volunteer as a Life Planning Ambassador in Ogun State, in which capacity I manage strategic communication and collaborations to improve social conceptions of adolescent and youth health. I also advocate to and work with stakeholders to design, implement and monitor policies and processes that promote access to equitable care in public health facilities.
I am a member of the following teams and networks:
African Youth and Adolescents Network on Population and Development (AFRIYAN)
Media Action For Family Planning, Ogun State
Dev Comms Social Media Hub, Ogun State
Advocacy Working Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Ogun State Nigeria
Social Behavioural Change Communications Team on Reproductive Health, Ogun State
Ogun State Technical Working Committee on Adolescent Reproductive Health
Most recently, I contributed to development of the Ogun State Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Policy document, 2019- 2024.
More frequently, I provide resources for sexual and reproductive health advocacy by blogging for the Ogun State Advocacy Working Group; archiving stories of people and events that illustrate gaps within the system.
I also train community mobilizers to engage young persons in reproductive health conversations, and liaise between the health system and young persons in need of care or with complaints
