    Handling monies including cashing up at end of business, sorting and processing daily, weekly and monthly money along with completing all of the relevant paperwork as well as managing statistics

    Been responsible for the running of the branch: opening, closing, cashing-up, dealing with enquiries that require a more senior member of staff, health & safety, managing staff’s workload etc.

    Research including on potential donors, PR & marketing strategy, fundraising campaigns, journalists and newspapers, our beneficiaries’ needs and collating subsequent statistics

    Writing and editing articles for publication including family stories, post-conference document, articles featured in newspapers and newsletters

    Social media including content, monitoring, planning overall strategy and how they can be used in conjunction with our fundraising campaigns and set up LinkedIn, YouTube & Instagram accounts

    Admin including management of databases, paperwork, statistics and the application process for families & donors, setting up Google Non-Profits, Google Ads and Google Analytics

    Day-to-day finance including processing payments e.g. invoices and payroll and updating the relevant databases and completing paperwork

    Website: managing content including graphics, stories, news, breaks, new guests and hosts, helped to plan the design and content of new website, troubleshooting with website company and liaising with families and hosts

    Event planning including a conference, fundraising Ladies’ Lunches and the bi-annual fundraising evening

    Planning, editing, monitoring and carrying-out surveys including the use of Google Forms, on families and welfare officers including looking into what families thought about the effects of their respite break and why many do not send feedback

    Assisting in planning the overall strategy and policies of the charity

    Managing some host’s accounts which involves uploading property details, available dates, contacting provisional families who book and then confirming or editing breaks
