    Strengthened the socio-economic studies Team within the company’s Environment Department. Carried out activities to support and assess the impact on the lives of the families affected by the resettlement of the Mining Company Vale in Moatize, Tete in Mozambique

    In the LNG Project in Palma, Pemba, Filipa was the focal point between the Oil & Gas company Anadarko and the NGO ORAM for legal support to the affected families (phase 0). Filipa was also responsible for setting up the survey team, she participated in the finalization of the survey and data capture for the socioeconomic base study of the families that were physically and economically affected by the project.

    Reactivation of the Inclusive Education department for this French NGO, mapping of the principal actors in Mozambique (Public, agencies for development and cooperation, International NGO´S and local associations) at a national level.

    The objective was to elaborate an integrated project and include the contributions of all principal actors tailored to the beneficiary’s needs, thus contributing to the well-being of disabled children in Mozambique.

    Head of Media and Communication

    Establishing of the Media and Communication Department for the Embassy of Switzerland in Mozambique. Production of Communication materials (merchandising, institutional, Communication for Development mainly used for private sector development). Preparation of speeches, management and updating of website, participation in the development of the external communication policy, action plan and budget.

    Operations Manager

    Design, project management, press officer to the "Casa de Mozambique" during the period of the African Games hosted in  Mozambique. Elaboration of the “Fan Park” and Cheerleaders Support group for the Mozambican National Team. Implementation of the Cultural and Sports activities at“Parque dos Continuadores”. program manager of the "Art in the Park" cultural space.

  • Research/Communication/ Capacity building

    Collection of testimonials, awareness campaign, (debate sessions, guided tours to Schools, press officer), capacity building, and empowerment for the association.

    The book “Sons of the moon” is the result of a 2-year project. Over 100 people were interviewed either with Albinism or their families.

    The life stories of people who have been marginalized and sometimes even persecuted for obscurantism reasons resulted in a book, an exhibition, and an awareness campaign using guided tours to schools, debate sessions at the exhibitions, and throughout the media.
