I am an architect and curator living and working in Athens. I am a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens, School of Architecture (Athens, 2014) and the online programs "International Curating Master" at Node Center (Berlin, 2016) and "Commissioning and Curating Contemporary Public Art" at Valand Academy, University of Gothenburg (Sweden, 2019). I have worked as an architect at “Mediomundo Architects” (Seville, 2014 - 2015) and at “The Collective” (London, 2015-2018). During the last year I have collaborated, with SNEHTA Residency (Athens, 2019) as a freelance curator and I did my internship at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (Athens, 2019). Currently, I am a member and communication manager of “Generation Symbiocene” a collective initiative that uses art to reconnect humans with nature and to change the mainstream environmental narrative.
As a fellow of the Robert Bosch Stiftung Foundation's START-Create Cultural Change program, I have worked at RAW / cc sociocultural centre in Berlin (2019) where I curated a series of discussions called “Shared Matters” exploring the links between public space and contemporary art in Berlin and Athens. These open discussions as well as the exhibitions I have participated at helped me to define my research interest that focuses on the interaction of architecture with contemporary art through participatory actions and exhibitions. Some of the exhibitions I had the opportunity to take part are: “Home Economics” at the Venice Biennale of Architecture in the British Pavilion (2016), “Arquitectura Dispuesta Everyday Prepositions” at CAAC, Andalusian Contemporary Art Center, which was awarded at the Spanish Biennale of Architecture (XIII) and the exhibition “All 'estero & dr K. takes the waters at Riva: Version A” at A plus A Gallery, (Venice, 2018).
